Not Counting Sheep

Its 12:17 am and I am blog stalking. Why? Because its like one of my favorite past times. I'm obsessed. I go from one blog to another and on to another, etc. I just click on the names of couples that look good and go on from there. It's kind of like a triathlon. You never know where you will get to although you start and lets face it, you never planned on finishing in the first place. Sometimes you even surprise yourself because through the tangled web of couples, babies, families, dogs...you might actually find someone 10 people down the line that you know! Tada!! Although perhaps I need to calm down my obsession because there is a certain couple whose blog I frequently check because they are so dang cute and I just cant help it!! Anyway...when I was working at the Nordstrom in Provo.. they actually came into my department. I got kind of excited and almost started waving at them as they look over at me. Yes, almost. Therefore.. I have come to the conclusion that I am stopping. (maybe)
Admit it....you do it too!!!

50% Complete

We all have areas of our lives that we tend to slack on. One of my personal downfalls is the blog. Why can I not bring myself to post on this frequently? Perhaps I feel that Facebook is so much more simple? But yet it isn't much more simple than the good ole blogster here. So this leaves me in deep reflection.

Perhaps I am just not a blogger?

But I would feel incomplete without a blog!

Perhaps I am just lazy?

To this I have no rebuttal.

My number one fan and lover is gone until the 24th and I am counting down the days. This has been the longest we have ever been apart and I miss him terribly already. I dropped him off at the airport at 7am yesterday morning and as I left the airport, I felt only 50% complete.

Love you my handsome husband!!

Hello LOVER!

Our dogs eat the most random things. From lettuce to carrots to apples to bananas. They enjoy strawberries, celery, garlic, and as pictured above...ONION!

I flew into Vegas for a couple of days for this couples beautiful wedding! Congrats Reggie and Linda!
The blushing bride and I. Linda couldn't have been more beautiful!!
Guess what? We've packed up and left town! That's right! Cross country...we drove....and 1600 miles later...made a pit stop in good ole Denver!
Matt always talks about living here one day. You know what? I wouldn't hate it!
Matt's grandpa took us to a Broncos game! For those of you that dont know my husband obession with the Broncos...he is a BIG FAN! The game was awesome! Althought...I must say...it was difficult keeping track of who to cheer for because the opposing team, the Bears, were decked out in navy and orange as well! There were times when I started cheering only to realize that I was cheering for the wrong team!
We watched this guy get booed over...and over...and over! It was intense! Lets hope he is happy!

The view from the 6th row is amazing!

Grandma and Grandpa! We love you guys! We also got to visit our other grandparents; Grandpa and Grandma Wonderly! We love you guys!!

Monday morning we drove the 750 miles to Vegas. We passed through Utah and saw the fires! We stopped in St. George to gas up and there were ashes blowing around us! CRAZY!
Our new home!! Irvine, California!! We LOVE IT!

I need help!!

Things that I would love to know how to do...

- Add videos to this blog from youtube

- Save videos from YouTube to my computer

- Burn DVDs on my laptop

- Copy my friends carrot cake recipe so that the carrot cake tastes JUST LIKE hers

...You know what? On second thought, scratch the last one. That carrot cake recipe had an encounter that I never...I repeat...never want to experience again. Lets just say that I woke up in the middle of the night feeling nauseated. Enough said.

As far as the other three....ANYONE?? HELP!!

Our Top 20 in the Last 20 Days

Found a beautiful state park right by where we live! I'm not much of a nature girl therefore I tend to stay away from hiking, camping, etc. However, this park is somewhat of an Enchanted Forest complete with a lake, canoe rentals, and a remarkable view at sunset. The only downfall of this gorgeous little get-away is the fact that this forest, I presume, is packed with ticks. Every time I feel an itch on my leg, I scream that I indeed have a tick on me.

We heart the view of the lake from the trail!
Stopped to take a couple of pictures. Matt keeps pointing out that every picture of us looks exactly the same ...just different clothes. Its always me that holds the camera and snaps the picture. How else are we going to capture pictures of ourselves? There are only so many places to leave a camera propped up and the self-timer on! Haha
Captured a be-eau-ti-ful view of the lake!

Straddled a bridge and overcame my feat of heights!
Watched the sunset.
Found buried treasure. (or just minnows)
Watched the turtles poke their little heads out of the water only to quickly disappear as soon as they spotted you!
Played fetch with Remington.

Tried to keep Rockie from jumping into the Lake after Remington.
Only to have given in to the temptation of throwing him in.
Went to a museum and attended a "Meet the Animals" class where this guy whipped out a baby alligator out of a cooler. Only in North Carolina...
Celebrated our 3 Year Anniversary!! Posed hungrily as we waited for our 4-course meal to begin!
Posed with cheesy smiles after our cheese fondue!
Posed again, just like in the other park picture as we ventured back to the park yesterday!

Captured more scenic shots of the lake.
Explored the bridge.
Tried throwing Rockie back into the lake. Watched the sunset..
